We celebrated the joy of Henry's baptism on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Roncalli Newman Center. This was a very special day for LJ and I, as it not only introduced Henry to a relationship with God, it welcomed him into a parish that we know and love. A little over 4 years ago, LJ and I were married at the Newman Center, so it was very meaningful to have Henry baptized there.
We were lucky enough to have lots of family in town to celebrate this joyous occasion. Henry's God-parents, Megan and Joe Sustar, made the trek with their two, (almost three!) little girls, all the way from Belleville, IL. Megan was 34 weeks pregnant, and we are so glad that she was able to make it!

The beautiful gown Henry wore was lovingly made by Grandma Yak.
Immediately after the mass my parents hosted a reception at their home. It was a beautiful day that we were so happy to share with friends and family.
