Henry pleasantly surprised us with sleeping for four hours in a row AT NIGHT on his four week "birthday" mark. He then repeated this for two more nights! It was amazing. Sadly, this run ended last night, but he is moving in the direction of spacing out his feedings and sleeping a little bit longer at night. Never thought I would be so excited to sleep four hours in a row, but even 3.5 hours feels amazing! =)
I know he's only 4 weeks, but it feels like Henry is growing up before my eyes! Its such a cliche, but its true that this time goes by so quickly. Henry is definitely getting bigger, I'm guess around 9lbs, and is becoming more interactive. He's starting to coo and make funny sounds other than grunts and cries. Henry loves to be outside, and when he's not outside, he's fascinated with looking out the window. I think we may have a little outdoors-man, which makes mom and dad VERY happy.
We had a surprise visit from Maddie S, and her mom, Amy, who I went to high school with last week. It was great to see them and catch up. We've decided that Henry and Maddie will be each other's prom dates. =)
