Henry discovered the purpose and direct aims of his Object Permanence box in March, (which is to teach little ones that even when you no longer see an object it still exists) and since then he has been all about it. He has realized how fun it is to put the ball in the hole, and is so proud when he does so.
The first video is one that LJ took on 3.11.13
Since Henry discovered how the Object Permanence box works he has been interested in putting other "balls" in holes. This video was taken the very next day and is a great example of his spontaneous focus and concentration. Henry putting the egg shaker in the hole inside the block was completely spontaneous and self-directed.

This next video was also taken the very next day. Again, Henry was completely self -directed in putting the egg shaker inside the Object Permanence box, other than me asking him to do it for the video. =) He is one smart little guy! A great example of Montessori education for even the youngest children!
