Henry's 2 week check up

Yesterday we had Henry's two week check up with the pediatrician.  I am happy to report that he is doing great and is very healthy!  He also gained a lot of weight, which is great news!  Henry was 6 lbs 9 oz when he was born.  Right after birth he lost a little bit of weight, which is normal and was 6 lbs 3 oz when we left the hospital.  When we went in for his 4 day old visit he was 6 lbs 5 oz, so he had already started gaining weight back, and yesterday he was 7 lbs, 14.5 oz!  The pediatrician was so impressed with his weight gain that she said he's gained the most weight of all the newborns in the tri-state area.  (I don't really believe that, but it is awesome that he is growing!)  Its good to know that all of his nursing is paying off, despite the fact that it means very little sleep for me!
